The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) is a legally capable association based in Berlin and the joint interest group for German automobile manufacturers and suppliers. In the public eye, the VDA is known as the organizer of the annually held International Motor Show (IAA). It alternates between Frankfurt (passenger vehicles) and Hanover (commercial vehicles).
