Zeitstrom and Getec cooperate for faster expansion of charging infrastructure

The financial investor and full-service provider for charging infrastructure Zeitstrom and the charging infrastructure specialist Getec have entered into a strategic partnership and plan to install 10,000 charging stations by 2030. To meet the national and international decarbonization goals for the mobility sector, several million charging points need to be established in Germany by 2030. With its "Charging Infrastructure as a Service (CIaaS)" model, Zeitstrom aims to enable property owners to have charging stations without having to invest themselves. The service includes not only the investment but also the planning, installation, operation, billing, and long-term assurance of trouble-free operation.

Charging Infrastructure without Investment

Location partners from the real estate industry, hospitality, commerce, or municipal operations can fully focus on their own business with CIaaS and meet all legal, fleet, and customer requirements without using their own resources, advocates say. Getec, as a specialist in charging infrastructure, will ensure the energy supply and operation of this infrastructure and provide the complete service around it. From commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting to handling billing processes, the specialist will take care of the e-mobility infrastructure and its future users.
