Zaptec and reev: Solution for charging company cars at home – including billing

Zaptec, a Norwegian provider of smart charging stations for electric vehicles, and reev, a software manufacturer for intelligent charging solutions, have entered into a strategic partnership. Their first joint product is a pre-configured wall box designed to simplify the home charging and billing of company cars. By integrating reev's software into Zaptec's charging stations, not only will the station's commissioning be facilitated, but also the connection to the reev billing platform. This enables home charging processes to be billed fully automatically or via receipt creation – legally compliant and consumption-accurate. As the product is pre-configured, the charging solution is ready for immediate use. It will be available from the second quarter of 2024.

Sector coupling becomes more important

After the launch of their first joint solution, further steps and products are expected to follow. reev will also be a partner in the field of compliant and automatic billing with the planned introduction of Zaptec Pro Eichrecht, available later this year.
