XCharge fast charger receives certification for accuracy

XCharge Europe GmbH has received calibration certification for its C7 Ultra-Fast Charger. Measurement and calibration regulations are legally required in Germany for public and semi-public charging stations. With a charging capacity of up to 400 kW, the C7, through this certification, meets one of the most demanding standards in the industry. The DC fast-charging station thus ensures accurate measurements, transparent pricing, as well as data security in the backends.

Subsidy programs can be utilized

With the certification, the C7 is officially recognized as a safe and reliable charging solution for charge point operators and end consumers. At the same time, the fast charger offers special advantages for energy companies as well as fleet and parking operators: Since the device meets legal requirements, they are entitled to utilize subsidy programs for charging infrastructures. This allows them to reduce both their acquisition and operating costs.

The DC fast charger C6EU is also certified

Above all, the C7 is one of the few ultra-fast chargers on the market with calibration law certification and at the same time not the only calibration law-compliant product from XCharge. The compact DC fast charger C6EU has also been certified since February 2023.

“The certification we received at the beginning of 2024 is a promising start to the new year. It represents a growing presence of XCharge in the German market,” emphasizes XCharge Europe head Albina Iljasov.
