World premiere from Valeo: Real environment is projected into the video game while driving
At the South by Southwest (SXSW) fair in Austin, Texas, Valeo will introduce a novel XR gaming experience (Extended Reality), which passengers can experience live via a phone or tablet connected to the vehicle's Wi-Fi. Thanks to Valeo software, the game uses the car's driver assistance systems (ADAS) – including cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors – as well as perception and AI algorithms already on board, to integrate the real environment of the vehicle into the game.
