VW ID. Buzz achieves five stars in Euro NCAP

The new Volkswagen ID. Buzz achieved a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP test. Both for impact protection and occupant protection, the electric minibus received the highest score, which, according to the manufacturer, indicates good equipment with comprehensive and practical accident prevention technology. The ID. Buzz comes standard with a driver, passenger, center, and side airbags in the cockpit, as well as curtain-like curtain airbags. With 92 percent of the maximum possible points for occupant protection, the electric van from Hannover achieved this excellent result through the combination of airbags and appropriately designed body structure.

With a similarly high score as the ID. Buzz, the new Amarok also performed well in crash tests. Thus, the new pick-up from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, whose market launch in Germany will only occur in the spring of 2023, was also awarded "5 stars" by the testing organization Euro NCAP.
