The first vehicles arrive by ship in Bremerhaven, and the manufacturer aims to guarantee short delivery times with a steady flow of models. Now they finally want to take off with the light electric vans.

The Swabian lightweight electric vehicle manufacturer TYN-e has received the first delivery of vehicles from Chinese production in Bremerhaven. On the RoRo ferry “Peony Leader,” the first TYNe TX2 and TX7 from the ongoing series production were also on board. The vehicles were received by TYN-e Technical Director Eberhard Wizgall. For the manufacturer, this is a milestone after years of planning and development work, having met all homologation requirements, including crash tests, electromagnetic compatibility, and electrical safety.

After the completion of the official acts by experts based on the chassis numbers, it was confirmed that the vehicles conform to the COC (Certificate of Conformity). Only then is it legally clear that the TYN-e TX2 and TX7 light trucks with flatbed or box bodies delivered from series production truly meet the requirements set out in the homologation, according to the manufacturer. Only then is TYN-e allowed to create the vehicle documents and deliver them to customers along with the technical operating manual.

No long waiting times

Another ship with a load of TYN-e TX1 had started 14 days before the now arrived ship, but the number two had overtaken the previously started ship during the long journey around Africa and has now landed in Bremerhaven first. Meanwhile, the slower ship with the small brothers of the TX2 and TX7 is also in Germany. The TX1 Van is now also being delivered to customers from Hamburg.

"This means the entire vehicle program from TYN-e is now available to us," says TYN-e CEO Markus Graf.

The next production batch is already under construction and is heading for the next available ferry, ensuring a continuous flow of goods in the future, as promised. Long waiting times for a TYN-e, whether TX1 compact van or one of the TX2 or TX7 light trucks, are a thing of the past, they further promise. After having previously planned and invested more in secret, the brand is now beginning to be visible to all dealers and potential buyers. They want to go on the offensive now, says Graf.

“We want to convince with our honesty and not persuade the customer to buy the product.” And: TYN-e strives to “build long-term relationships and make a positive contribution to society,” proclaims the CEO of the spin-off from Waiblingen.

Graf was pleased that Europe is now starting as the last continent in worldwide delivery. So far, TYN-e is already present in 24 countries on five continents.
