The French fuel and electricity provider TotalEnergies and its Italian competitor Eni with its brand Agip have agreed to mutually accept their fleet cards effective immediately. Both companies announced this on April 26, 2022. Fleet customers in Germany can now use the TotalEnergies Fleet Card and the Eni Multicard at over 430 Agip and Eni branded gas stations as well as around 870 TotalEnergies stations.

The French are pleased that through this alliance, they can gain more acceptance points, especially in southern Germany where the two Italian brands are more strongly represented. In total, customers can now pay with the Fleet Card at 5,000 gas stations.

There is no mention in this context of the nearly 3,000 charging points for electric vehicles and the 24 hydrogen fueling stations that TotalEnergies also operates. Apparently, Eni does not maintain any electric charging stations in this country, even though the parent company is involved in electromobility in its home country.
