The Tire Cologne 2024 increases the number of exhibitors by 115%
With a total of around 430 exhibitors from 35 countries, The Tire Cologne 2024 (TTC) from June 4 to 6 in the Cathedral City records an increase in exhibitor numbers by over 115%, reports TTC Director Ingo Riedeberger.
"This is 60 more companies than announced a few weeks ago. This is because many more, especially smaller companies, have decided to participate in the fair. Among them were companies from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Egypt, but also from the Netherlands, Poland, and the United Kingdom. In total, these exhibitors came from nine countries. There were also group registrations particularly from China, which were larger than expected.”
The tire fair appeals to a variety of industry-relevant target groups, including manufacturers, service providers, wholesalers, specialty retailers with workshops, online retailers, independent workshops, fleet managers, and car dealerships. A total of 89% of visitors are involved in the decision-making process.
Networking of Industry Representatives
The TTC simultaneously acts as an important venue for knowledge transfer within the industry. Stakeholders and experts exchange views on industry-relevant topics in panels and formats such as the Tire Stage. This enables constructive exchange and fosters new approaches and solutions. Exhibitor presentations, panels, events, and the Executive Summit facilitate personal interactions and networking among industry representatives.
"Our focus is on the continuous development of the trade fair. We want to strengthen the concept of networking in addition to business and become a leading player in promoting innovation. By not only discussing technical innovations but also socially relevant topics, we encourage forward-thinking and deliver concrete results," explains Riedeberger.
An example of this commitment is the initiative to sign a used tire resolution at the trade fair. The Allianz Zukunft Reifen (AZuR) calls on companies, associations, and NGOs to support the resolution. This demands a more sustainable handling of used and new tires and emphasizes the ambition to advance not only the economic viability but also the sustainability of the industry.
