Tesla changes pricing structure for fast-charging network: Tesla drivers automatically become members

The electric car pioneer Tesla has also adjusted its pricing structure and is now introducing a membership model for its fast-charging network. This allows e-mobilists to benefit from discounted Supercharger rates. Tesla drivers are automatically members of the charging network. The monthly membership fee has now been reduced from 12.99 to 9.99 euros, and an annual membership costs 100 euros. With this change, Tesla aims to continue offering owners a seamless and fully integrated fast-charging experience at lower membership prices than non-members, while providing other e-drivers with more options. Fast charging without a membership will still be available at stations accessible to all e-drivers, with fast-charging rates regularly updated to ensure that fast charging remains affordable for all e-drivers. Customers with an active membership will benefit from an automatically reduced monthly fee or can switch to an annual membership. The Tesla app must be updated to version 4.32 or higher.
