On the occasion of the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 trade fair in Hanover, HUSS VERLAG and Mercedes-Benz Trucks have jointly published the special publication "LEADING. CHANGE. NOW. Sustainable and Safe Transport with Mercedes-Benz Trucks." The 26-page booklet is dedicated to the opportunities and challenges in the decarbonization of transport. In addition to the current electric trucks from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, it also covers the necessary charging infrastructure and the entry into the hydrogen economy.

"The transformation is now! Emission-free vehicles are no longer just a vision making future promises as prototypes on the trade fair stand. On the contrary: They are already driving on our roads today and are in use by our customers," explains Karin Rådström, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

The special issue highlights how Mercedes-Benz Trucks intends to enable its customers to engage in sustainable transportation across various operational scenarios. It spans the range from the long-haul electric truck Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, which will go into series production at the end of the year, to the necessary charging infrastructure, and to the hydrogen truck GenH2 Truck, which the truck manufacturer has already sent into customer-close testing.

The magazine is rounded off with driving reports and tests of selected Mercedes-Benz trucks, based on the coverage in the independent specialist journal Transport by HUSS VERLAG GmbH.

Rainer Langhammer, Managing Director of HUSS-VERLAG GmbH, points out the high utility value of the special publication: "With the decarbonization of transport, the industry is facing a monumental task. In the special publication, Mercedes-Benz Trucks explains how this can already be realized for most operations."

"LEADING. CHANGE. NOW. Sustainable and Safe Transport with Mercedes-Benz Trucks" will be published ahead of the IAA TRANSPORTATION as a 26-page special edition in the publications Transport and LOGISTRA with a circulation of 20,000 copies and as an online edition at https://leading-change-now.transport.de
