Škoda presents the Enyaq Coupé iV
The study was a coupe, but the production version wasn't – now the Czechs are bringing the elegant version of their MEB electric vehicle: A teaser video gives an initial preview of the new, purely battery-electric top model and is intended to provide an impression of the good aerodynamics: With a drag coefficient of cW 0.234, the new Škoda Enyaq Coupé iV is said to offer the "best drag coefficient in its class" and will thus be more efficient than the standard version.
The roofline gently slopes downwards from the B-pillar and merges into the rear hatch with a sharp breakaway edge. The teaser video also shows the so-called "Crystal Face," where 131 LEDs illuminate the distinctive Škoda waterfall grille.
What does this mean?
Škoda is also bringing the Enyaq as a more elegant coupé iV, following in the footsteps of the VW ID.5 and the Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback. Thanks to better aerodynamics, the Škoda coupe will also offer a few extra kilometers of range and is expected to be priced higher than the "standard Enyaq" – which, in return, offers a few extra liters of loading volume when loaded to the roof.
