Leadership change at Share Now: Olivier Reppert is leaving the company after nearly seven years for personal reasons. Brigitte Courtehoux, CEO of Free2move, will take over responsibility for Share Now effective August 1, 2023. The leadership change follows the acquisition of Share Now by Free2move last year, bringing the two Stellantis subsidiaries closer together at the leadership level.

Under Olivier Reppert, Share Now reached several milestones according to the company and is said to have strengthened its position as a leading carsharing provider across Europe. The constant increase in profitability and operational efficiency allowed the company to consistently expand its position as a leading provider in free-floating carsharing. Currently, services are offered in 17 cities and 8 countries.

Furthermore, Olivier Reppert significantly contributed to the company's growth by leading the successful merger with Free2move in recent months and supporting the preparation of the Next Step Strategy for Free2move and Share Now.

Brigitte Courtehoux also explains:

"We would like to sincerely thank Olivier for his valuable support in increasing the profitability of Share Now and his significant contributions to the growth of the company. We wish him all the best for his future."

And Reppert also had warm words:

“After an incredible journey with Share Now, I have made the difficult decision to leave the company. It has been a privilege to work with such a dedicated team and witness the transformation of the company over the past year. I am proud of the milestones we have achieved together, and I want to thank all team members for their support and commitment.”

What does this mean?

Looking ahead, it makes sense to combine the two parts of the company into one and place leadership in a single hand. A small catch: both brands are well established in free-floating car sharing. And it is important to anchor this business model as a central component in the everyday mobility mix, thereby sustainably improving the quality of life in cities – as it saves cars and gains space.
