Renault Trucks introduces new Master as Red Edition

Renault Trucks presents the latest version of the Renault Trucks Master Red Edition – and unlike its passenger car counterparts, it immediately showcases the models with bed variants. Available from the factory as a tipper, van, or chassis, it covers all deployment possibilities. The Renault Trucks service network also offers a wide range of further options for industry-specific needs. This highlights the main difference: the truck service offers better opening hours and deeper expertise in both construction and outfitting.

 The Renault Trucks Master Red Edition is available in five body variants: cab (L2, L3), flatbed truck (L2, L3), van (L2H2, L3H2), van with low cab (L2H2, L3H2), and passenger transporter. The vehicle already comes with mechanical and electrical fixtures that facilitate the construction works. The data is known from the passenger car segment: the vehicle's total weight is up to 4 tons, offering up to 1.6 tons of payload (3.5 tons chassis-cab without body), and it can hold up to 5 Euro pallets. The engine provides up to 105 kW and 300 Newton meters of maximum torque, the batteries hold up to 87 kWh, which should allow for a range of up to 400 km with a top speed of 90 km/h. Interesting to note: the charging time from 15% to 80% is indicated as 40 minutes at a maximum of 130 kW, with a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tons.

Packages for faster configuration

Furthermore, Renault Trucks has developed four optional packages to make the vehicle even more customizable:

"Delivery" to simplify delivery work,

"Parking Assist" to ease maneuvering in city centers,

"Storage" to optimize the cargo space,

"Driver Assist" to maximize the safety of the driver and road users.

 Extended comfort and safety features

The Renault Trucks Master Red Edition and the Renault Trucks Master E-Tech Red Edition come standard with exclusive features that enhance driving comfort. These include a 10.1-inch secondary display, an induction charger, and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, there's access to Google services, automatic climate control, and generous storage space. The Renault Trucks Master E-Tech Red Edition also comes standard with a digital instrument cluster. There’s also an adaptive cruise control and speed limiter, parking sensors (rear, front, and sides) with rearview camera, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot warning, and traffic sign recognition.

The difference in the “truck” version: The red stripe

 The truck version features a grille with a distinctive continuous red stripe. The sides display the "Red Edition" emblem, and the rear features the characteristic square logo. Red seat belts, as well as exclusive seat covers and floor mats, give the interior a personal touch.

The Master Red Edition is fully connected in both the diesel and electric versions, enabling the development of new specialized services. A personalized, dynamic maintenance plan allows for the combination of service works to ensure optimal uptime. Through a specialized application, the driver also receives information about the vehicle's condition.
