Renault Trucks delivers the first fully electric tractor unit for Zinq

Zinq has integrated the first fully electric trucks into its fleet with its two Renault Trucks E-Tech T 4x2 tractor units. The vehicles will be used at the Zinq locations in Landsberg near Halle and in Gelsenkirchen for factory traffic and offer a battery capacity of 540 kWh (6x90 kWh), it was said. This equipment ensures high efficiency and optimal range for daily use. Sven Biebler, Managing Director of Zinq Germany:

Sustainable Logistics
The aim with the circular business model Planet Zinq is the implementation of a consistently circular economy and is understood as a pioneer and guide for surface technology. An important field of action in this regard is the Low-Carbon-Zinq program, aimed at continuously reducing the carbon footprint both in the product and in the process within the company.

The electrification of the commercial vehicle fleet is another step for the company towards CO2-free mobility and logistics.
