Renault lowers the prices for the Kangoo E-Tech Electric. When purchasing the purely electric combi van, customers can now save up to 3,550 euros despite additional features. The versatile vehicle for commercial use, family, and leisure is now available in the five-seater version starting from 35,850 euros. Newly standard on board are the digital 7-inch driver display, the EASY LINK multimedia system with smartphone integration, and the intelligent speed assistant. Consumption is 21.5 kWh/100 km in the WLTP cycle.

Entry-level for the five-seater combi van is marked by the Equilibre Comfort Range AC11 with an 11 kW alternating current charger at a starting price of 35,850 euros. In the second-highest version with a 22 kW alternating current charger, the base price is now 37,350 euros. This represents a price reduction of 3,450 euros respectively. For the top equipment AC22, prices start at 39,950 euros – 3,550 euros less than before.

In addition to the two additional seats in the rear and the 22 kW charger similar to the standard-length five-seater, the standard equipment includes a fatigue warning system, rearview camera, and electronic parking brake. Additionally, it features high-beam assistant, light and rain sensor, and rear parking assist. The 2-zone climate control completes the equipment.
 

In the higher AC22 trim, prices for the Grand Kangoo electric start at 42,250 euros. Additionally, it includes features such as the keyless entry and start system Keycard Handsfree, front seat heating, rearview camera, as well as parking aids in the front and on the sides. The transportation of roof boxes is facilitated by the standard modular roof rail, which can be converted into a roof rack system in just a few steps and without tools.

Responsive drive and practical range

Both models are powered by a 90 kW/122 hp externally excited synchronous motor. The maximum torque of 245 Nm is available from the start and ensures confident pull in all situations. The electric motor draws its energy from a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 45 kWh. The power storage unit installed under the vehicle floor enables a practical range of up to 285 or 265 kilometers in the realistic WLTP test cycle. By using the Eco mode, the range can be further increased.
