The Munich-based eMobility expert reev has announced its market entry into the Netherlands, further accelerating its international expansion as announced. Following Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, the Netherlands is the fourth country where reev offers its cloud-based software for the central control and management of charging infrastructure. In the Netherlands, too, they rely on the concept of pre-configured bundles in combination with hardware from long-term partner ABL. The charging software was therefore specifically designed for the needs of complex fleet situations, such as companies, hospitality, multi-family homes, or commercial properties.
"With their high number of registered electric vehicles, the Netherlands is a promising, dynamic market for us. We see great potential here and are pleased to actively drive and shape the nationwide expansion of charging infrastructure in the semi-public space with our contribution," explains Eduard Schlutius, CEO of reev.
For this purpose, the specialists provide a charging platform for the management and control of charging stations that is intended to be intuitive to use. The reev software is available in different licenses, tailored to the application case. The online operator portal is intended to offer simplicity, transparency, and security in operations. The operators themselves decide on the charging tariffs, users and access rights can be managed, and consumption can be controlled. The goal is to keep the effort low through automated processes. Ad hoc charging without prior registration and eRoaming is also possible. Similarly, home charging processes for company car drivers can be precisely recorded and legally accounted for through the employer, thereby increasing flexibility. With the market launch of the bundle as a joint product of reev and ABL, the collaboration with hardware partner ABL is also strengthened. ABL has been active in the Netherlands since 2020 with its own sales office in Arnhem. Here too, the proven sales strategy through electrical specialist dealers continues, who, as partners of the electrical trade, have high expertise in the local markets, as promoted by the concept.
