The Swiss parcel service Quickpac AG delivers comprehensively on the last mile with electric cars. According to a sustainability report prepared by the company for the year 2022, more than 3,900 tons of CO2 have already been avoided since its founding in 2019. In 2022 alone, more than 5.1 million packages were delivered emission-free. Per delivered package, around 370 grams of CO2 have been avoided compared to conventional delivery with a diesel vehicle. This value has been confirmed by the climate protection partner Myclimate.

"We are proud of this contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, but we also know that we have not yet achieved our ambitious goals," said Milo Stössel, CEO of Quickpac AG.

Quickpac AG is a sister company of the private mail service provider Quickmail AG. Their customers include mail-order merchants and online shops from Switzerland and neighboring countries. With a fleet of nearly 300 vehicles, the company currently operates one of the largest electric car fleets in Switzerland, according to its own statement. The electric cars are used not only in cities but also in rural areas.

By 2025, the company aims to electrify all second-to-last mile transports as well. With the opening of additional depots in Switzerland, they also aim to expand comprehensive last-mile delivery. By 2025, 85 percent of all Swiss households should be reached.

Quickpac offers its customers the choice of four speeds from Economy to SameDay as well as evening delivery. This is made possible by a self-developed, dynamic route planning, an innovative sorting system, and fast connections between the sorting depots. The company also provides continuously updated forecasts and information about the delivery time.
