Quantron announced at the VDA International Press Workshop in Frankfurt am Main that the company, with the help of global partnerships with international commercial vehicle and component manufacturers, aims to offer H2 models at costs comparable to those of similar diesel vehicles. The first units of the QHM FCEV Aero as a tractor unit for heavy long-haul transport will be delivered to customers in the second half of 2024. According to Quantron, it has a range of up to 700 km, an integrated e-axle, and a long-distance driver's cab. Its other features include fully integrated hydrogen tanks between the axles with a capacity of up to 54 kg without a "backpack" behind the cab and its ISO guideline compliance for trailer combinations for international interchangeability and without usage restrictions compared to fuel cell vehicles from other providers. Two FCmove-XD fuel cells from Ballard Power Systems (2x120 kW) provide a total output of 240 kW. The aerodynamic design of the QHM FCEV Aero is expected to reduce air resistance by 20% and thus improve the range by 10%.

QLI FCEV: Five Vehicles in Operation

The QLI FCEV is available in various weight classes from 3.5 to 5.2 tons.
