The Austrian charging solution specialist go-e, one of the leading providers in the home charging sector in Germany, will present its new business wallbox for the first time under the name "go-e Charger Pro" at the Power2Drive in Munich from June 19 to 21, 2024, at booth B6.220. It is especially tailored to the needs of companies, company car drivers, or multi-family homes.

Focus on Legal Compliance in Charging

This next generation of go-e wallboxes includes proven features (e.g., authorization of charging via RFID, load management, PV surplus charging, or charging with dynamic electricity tariffs) as well as a MID-compliant energy meter for correct billing of transaction costs, which is to enable legally compliant charging according to German Measurement and Verification Law (MessEG) in the future. The new charging station is ISO 15118 V2X ready, i.e., hardware-wise prepared for bidirectional charging, as well as Plug-and-Charge ready. In addition to communication interfaces such as WLAN, it also has mobile or LAN connectivity. Control is possible via an app or backend system. The OCPP standard and open API interfaces enable integration into almost any third-party software, such as energy management or load management systems and billing solutions.

For the first time in its history, go-e is also offering a variant with a permanently integrated charging cable with the new wallbox. Additionally, the manufacturer is informing about the expansion of its energy management product line at the trade show.

About go-e

go-e was founded in 2015 as part of a Kickstarter project and introduced the go-eCharger Home+ in 2017, the world's first smart wallbox for charging electric cars that can also be used mobile. The company, which currently has around 105 employees, has since developed into an internationally established provider for the production and distribution of accessories for e-mobility, particularly intelligent AC charging solutions. Today, customers in more than 20 countries receive charging technology from go-e through a steadily growing network of partners, dealers, and specialist companies. Production is carried out as sustainably as possible at the Austrian company headquarters in Feldkirchen, while development takes place at the Graz location. Additionally, go-e operates an additional branch in Berlin that specializes in R&D in the field of charging infrastructure. In 2023, another location was opened in Stockholm to tap into the Scandinavian market.
