Peugeot is building an e-mobility ecosystem
Peugeot is also expanding its electric mobility ecosystem. Haico van der Luyt, Managing Director of Peugeot Germany, explains:
“We want to make it as easy as possible for people to launch into the mobility of the future with electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids from PEUGEOT. That’s why we have supplemented our extensive range of services and additional offers with the Peugeot Ecosystem. With this complete offering, we guarantee drivers of our electric models and plug-in hybrids the same high level of safety, reliability, and driving comfort they have traditionally been able to expect from the lion brand.”
The proportion of electrified models is increasing massively
By the end of 2021, Peugeot will offer 80 percent of its model range in electrified form. For light commercial vehicles, the entire model range is set to be available fully electric by 2022. The comprehensive package of all-around services and additional offers is therefore all the more important. The Peugeot Ecosystem is based on three components: Easy-Charge for charging solutions, Easy-Move for flexibility and mobility on the road, and Easy-Care for safety and reliability. Easy-Charge offers a wide range of charging solutions tailored to all individual needs. Peugeot dealers provide extensive advice on the right charging accessories as well as a complete installation service. Incidentally, there is a government subsidy of up to 900 euros available for the installation of a home charging station: dealers can also reliably advise on this as well.
With the Easy-Move service component, you stay mobile on the go: The central screen and the MyPeugeot smartphone app allow you to check the charging status at any time, as well as manage charging times, capacities, and ranges. The optional "Charge My Car" package from Free2Move Services (EUR 4.99 RRP monthly), the mobility service provider of Stellantis, helps you find one of 220,000 charging stations across Europe and plan your travel route accordingly. "Charge My Car" also enables payment for charging processes directly via the app, tracking consumption, and budgeting travel costs.
Safe and worry-free on the road – thanks to Easy-Care
Easy Care finally offers an extensive range of service and maintenance services, which have been optimized and specifically adapted for the requirements of electric mobility. The connected services of the Connected Services also provide additional safety and reliability. These include, for example, a telemaintenance system that transmits technical data directly to customer service and is intended to facilitate the straightforward arrangement of service appointments.
In addition, there is the emergency call system Peugeot Connect SOS, which guarantees quick and reliable breakdown assistance. In case of an extreme emergency, the Peugeot Mobility Pass allows for the uncomplicated provision of an appropriate rental vehicle at preferential conditions.
What does that mean?
Peugeot is also putting together a comprehensive service package around e-mobility, which is likely to be supplemented with further details over the years.
