In September, the covers will be lifted on the new Peugeot E-3008: The social media campaign PEUGEOT #CAMOCATCH, which involves the public in the launch of the new Peugeot E-3008, is entering its final phase. The so-called #CAMOCATCH Challenge this summer invites people to find and photograph the new Peugeot E-3008 during its final development tests on public roads. In Germany, the camouflaged vehicles will be seen, just as in France, Italy, Spain, and Austria. The lucky winners will have the opportunity to take the wheel of the Peugeot E-3008 themselves.
As early as May 2023, during the first phase of the campaign, Peugeot had asked its social media followers to vote on the new camouflage designs for the prototypes of the new Peugeot E-3008. Thousands of votes were counted in June across the Lion brand's various social networks, selecting three favorite camouflage patterns: "Street Art," "Optical Art," and "Prototype."
These camouflage designs, chosen by the public, were produced in June and used on the new Peugeot E-3008 vehicles, which will undergo their final development tests on European roads this summer.
During this period, the #CAMOCATCH Challenge calls on anyone who sees one of these camouflaged Peugeot E-3008s to photograph the model (while respecting safety regulations) and post the picture on Facebook and Instagram between July 15 and August 15 using the hashtag #CAMOCATCH and tagging @PEUGEOT.
All camouflaged PEUGEOT E-30081 are equipped with a QR code that leads to the website of the #CAMOCATCH social media campaign.
The Lion brand is offering an exclusive opportunity to six winners to test the new E-3008 2024 before its market launch, out of all submissions (only one submission per person).
What does this mean?
Peugeot is drumming up excitement for the E-3008: after the facelifts for 208, 2008, and 508, it is the highlight of the 2023 program refresh. And it becomes significantly more dynamic than its predecessor. Whether there will again be a derived space vehicle E-5008 remains open.
