Peugeot E-3008 completes a 1,000 km journey from Paris to Nice with only two charging stops
Building on its range of 701 km in the WLTP cycle, the new STLA-Medium platform has reached a milestone in real-world performance on the highway. The new Peugeot E-3008 – energy consumption of 17.2 to 18.4 kWh/100 km – has completed a journey from Paris to Nice over approximately 1,000 km with only two stops for recharging. It was conducted at speeds up to the maximum allowed on highways in France of 130 km/h and an average temperature of 20°C. This is based on high-performance batteries from the ACC joint venture, in which Stellantis is involved. They are manufactured in the Gigafactory in Billy-Berclau/Douvrin in the Hauts-de-France region.
This achievement, thanks to the now available long-range version of the STLA-Medium platform, is comparable to a journey in a combustion engine vehicle, where the driver takes breaks to refuel and rest. According to Stellantis, conducted simulations show similar results for trips such as from Turin to Naples or from Prague to Brussels.
