Paris Motor Show 2024: Leapmotor launches B10 into the mid-size E-SUV class

The Stellantis cooperation partner Leapmotor International presented the all-electric C-segment SUV B10 at the Paris Auto Show, viewing it as an important milestone in global expansion. The aim is to offer affordable, modern electric vehicles (EVs) throughout Europe and beyond. Leapmotor's founder, Zhu Jiangming, unveiled the B10 at the event and emphasized its significance as the young brand Leapmotor's first global model.

“The B10 embodies our vision of an electric future – it not only offers superior performance and intelligent connectivity, but also makes this future accessible to consumers worldwide,” Zhu explained. The B10 is based on Leapmotor's advanced LEAP 3.5 architecture, an integrated platform that combines features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a customizable digital cockpit, and intelligent driving functions. 

Tianshu Xin, CEO of Leapmotor International, emphasized the ambitious global strategy of Leapmotor during the presentation. The company is a start-up, but "a start-up with two incredibly strong 'parents'." One company brings innovation and competitive prices, while the other—through our partnership with Stellantis—offers powerful global resources and an unparalleled service infrastructure. Together, this enables us to offer consumers products like the B10, which combine cutting-edge technology with affordability. Additionally, we rely on Stellantis' dealer and service network, which is expected to expand from 200 to 500 sales outlets by next year.

The B10 is crucial for global expansion. The B10 is the first of many new models that will be launched as part of Leapmotor's B-series, specifically designed for global markets. This new C-SUV targets younger consumers seeking a vehicle that not only offers advanced technology and connectivity but also strong environmental features at a competitive price. With the B10, the manufacturer enters a highly competitive segment in the global market.
