The Hypermotion has started and is addressing the questions: What does the future of logistics and mobility look like - on rail, road, air, or water? From November 20 to 22, 2017, in Frankfurt, the Hypermotion brings together experts from various fields and industries. The solution lies in new, connected, integrated, and multimodal systems – across all modes of transport.

The new event is a combination of exhibition, conferences, pitches, talks, and a hackathon. Also included is the VISION mobility Think Tank, which dedicates itself to exciting future topics in three discussion rounds and then discusses them. The many interactive formats offer participants numerous opportunities to exchange ideas, contribute to the development of new business models, and discuss.

The over 100 exhibitors at the Hypermotion include established companies from the transport and logistics sector as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, mobility pioneers, and entrepreneurs. Companies such as Robert Bosch, Cargosteps, DB Netz AG, EDASCA SCE, EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg, Fraunhofer-Allianz Verkehr, Hamburger Hochbahn, Hamburg Port Authority, MVMANT, PTV Group as well as SAP AG, both exhibitor and main sponsor of the Hypermotion, are participating. Other exhibitors include SICK, Signon Deutschland, SSI Schäfer, Teradata, and T-Systems. Exhibiting start-ups include Metrilus, Magazino, NectOne, Rydies, and Vionice. An online exhibitor search provides an overview of all participating companies.

At the start-up pitches on November 21 and 22, 20 young founders and entrepreneurs will present their innovative ideas to the audience and a high-caliber jury at the HypermotionXlab. Over 60 programmers, designers, and hardware experts will develop new solutions on the topic of "Next Generation Mobility" from Sunday, November 19, to Monday, November 20. The winning team will be announced publicly on the afternoon of November 20. Sponsors include Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa Cargo, and Schmitz Cargobull.

Further exciting stimuli are provided by conferences on intelligent systems and solutions for transport, mobility, logistics, and digital infrastructure from November 20 to 22, 2017. So far, over 2,000 registrations have been received for the 19 conference modules. Over 200 speakers, including renowned experts from companies and organizations such as Amadeus, Air Baltic, BMW Group, Deutsche Bahn, DER Touristik Deutschland, Door2Door, EnBW, Eurowings, Fahrgastverband PRO BAHN, FAIRTIQ, Fraunhofer Institute, Hertz INTERNATIONAL, Hyster-Yale, IG Metall, Jungheinrich, Lieferlotse, Linde, LoadFox, Lufthansa, Mercedes-Benz Vans, moovel Group, RMV, SAP, Salesforce, Schmitz Cargobull, Siemens, Swisslog, Teradata, TerraE Holding, Tuifly, UBER, UPS, Verband deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (VDV), Volkswagen, Volocopter, and ZF Friedrichshafen will speak at the conferences.

NUMBR1 Award Ceremony at the HypermotionThe magazine Nahverkehrs-praxis will present the NUMBR1 Award for the first time on November 21, 2017, at 5:30 PM at the Hypermotion at the booth of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, which, along with the State of Hesse, is the patron of the event. The prize will be presented by State Secretaries Rainer Bomba and Mathias Samson. The award honors solutions and concepts for Sustainable Urban Mobility in metropolitan areas, significantly influencing the future of public transport. Municipalities and regions, transport companies, transport associations, and the transport industry are the target groups of the award.

Another highlight is the new information campaign "More Train for the Region." The kick-off is a press conference scheduled for November 20, 2017, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on the forecourt of the Festhalle.

Few other regions in Germany are developing as rapidly as the Rhine-Main area. Today, around 5.5 million people already live and work here, traveling daily. And the number is expected to increase. To ensure the mobility of all these people and the performance of local and long-distance traffic, the federal government, the state of Hesse, the city of Frankfurt, the RMV, and Deutsche Bahn have developed a joint master plan – Frankfurt RheinMainplus. The new information campaign "More Train for the Region" aims to inform people about the benefits and implementation of the projects under Frankfurt RheinMainplus. Its declared goal is to inform people about the joint offensive for a sustainable rail infrastructure.
