Opel: Vinci Energies electrifies fleet with 30 Vivaro-e vehicles

The customer service employees should not have to compromise on practicality with the delivered Vivaro-e Cargo L, which has a length of 5.30 meters and a payload of just under 930 kilograms, with a loading length of 2.75 meters. About half of the models also receive a mission-specific Sortimo workshop conversion. The emission-free transporters are intended not only for the so-called "last mile" in city centers but also for extended overland trips to customers. The 75 kWh battery installed in the underbody provides enough energy for this, with a range of up to 329 kilometers (according to WLTP). Additionally, the electric synchronous motor with 100 kW/136 hp output and 260 Newton meters of torque offers sufficient reserves. In addition to standard assistance systems such as speed control and limiter, as well as fatigue detection, all VINCI vehicles are equipped with blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and a 180-degree rear-view camera. The comfort is enhanced by seat heating for the driver and front passenger, as well as an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible multimedia radio infotainment system. The Vivaro-e Cargo are the first commercial vehicles from Opel in the VINCI fleet. The group has already been using various passenger car models with the lightning bolt emblem for years, including several hundred Opel Insignia Sports Tourer, Opel Grandland, and Opel Astra Sports Tourer models, the latest generation of which is already available for order.
