Ono Allround: E-cargo bike also suitable for pallet cargo

Berlin-based provider introduces the ONO Allround, a more affordable e-cargo bike for waste management, craftsmanship, and intralogistics. Unlike the exchange-box bike, it is flexibly usable, for example for pallet freight.

The Berlin-based E-Cargobike manufacturer ONO has introduced a new variant of its E-Cargobike, which is intended to be more flexible in use than the interchangeable box system. The ONO Allround features a versatile transport surface for carrying various and especially bulky cargo such as Euro pallets (EPAL) with collar frames, mesh boxes, and big boxes, with a payload of up to 280 kilograms. This makes the vehicle particularly suitable for applications in the waste management industry such as recycling centers, intra- and campus logistics, as well as in craft businesses.

As is common with e-cargo bikes, the vehicle can be operated without a driver's license and on bike paths. The energy for pedal assistance is provided by a now standard AES Superpack battery with a range of up to 25 kilometers. Thanks to state funding, the model is already available in North Rhine-Westphalia for under 12,500 euros. Nationwide, the vehicle costs 14,499 euros. Like all e-cargo bikes from the Berlin-based company, the all-round model can be individually customized in terms of equipment and cost.

"The ONO has always been conceived as a platform, and the ONO Allround is the basic variant. With its flexible carrier system, attractive price, and all the vehicle improvements that are also available in the ONO Cargo, the ONO Allround precisely meets the wishes of our customers from the trades, waste management, as well as plant and intralogistics," explains Philipp Kahle, Co-CEO and co-founder, regarding the current development.
