Novatek: More LNG Stations Go Online

Novatek Green Energy, a subsidiary of Novatek PAO, already has ten LNG filling stations in Germany, covering 15 percent of the local market. They are located at strategically advantageous locations so that bus and truck drivers can find refueling possibilities along their route. Additional LNG filling stations by Novatek are under construction and will be put into operation later this year.

Ten Minutes Refueling Time

The LNG filling station network of Novatek is part of the liquefied natural gas infrastructure on the German traffic map. Drivers can refuel with Novatek’s liquefied natural gas in the following cities: Rostock, Potsdam, Buchholz, Lübbenau, Elsterheide, Neumünster, Dessau, Knüllwald, Rheda-Wiedenbrück, and Vogelsdorf.

The Novatek stations can refuel up to 150 vehicles per day with an average refueling time of about ten minutes and a tank capacity of up to 400 kg LNG. The Novatek filling station in Buchholz is the most popular due to its unique location on the A7 motorway at the intersection of routes leading from coastal ports to the south of the country.

Comprehensive Service

The convenient location and the possibility to pay with fleet and credit cards are not the only conveniences available at Novatek filling stations operated by BarMalGas GmbH. The company offers its customers 24/7 technical support, including the so-called LNG emergency refueling service in case a vehicle cannot reach the filling station on its own, for example, if it runs out of fuel on the motorway or is in the middle of a service.
