Nissan equips the new X-Trail with a taxi package
Nissan has expanded its taxi and rental car range with the latest generation of the X-Trail SUV, which was introduced by taxi heute in the 1-2/2023 issue. This fact alone is gratifying, as new releases among taxis have been few and far between for some time. Even more pleasing for taxi and rental car customers is that the Japanese brand delivers the packages at no cost, just as it does for the Primastar transporter, which can accommodate up to nine passengers.
The taxi package for the 5+2-seater X-Trail includes the option of a light ivory wrap, preparation for the taximeter or odometer, the radio, and a Kienzle roof sign, as well as the installation of the taxi emergency alarm system and a central interior light control system. The taximeter or odometer can be housed in a roof console or provided as mirror devices. Connections for a possible radio are placed in the glove compartment by the Oldenburg technicians.
The unsubsidized prices for the electric models Ariya and Leaf II, with wrapping, are significantly over 3,000 euros (excluding VAT). “The electric models Ariya and Leaf are still available at favorable conditions,” writes the “Taxi-Manufaktur” in its press release – no comment!
What does this mean?
The X-Trail offers enough space for five and a lot of luggage or even seven passengers, but it only comes as an e-Power hybrid.
