Nio cooperates with Vergölst and repareo for tire service

As a tire service partner, there are over 150 Vergölst branches available throughout Germany. With this, the Chinese are further expanding their network of certified service workshops. The appointment booking tools of the specialist repareo, with which the service is intended to be digitally accessible, are being combined.

The Chinese electric car manufacturer NIO has entered into a strategic partnership with the tire and auto service expert Vergölst. Nationwide, more than 150 of its own branches and partner operations from the Vergölst network are set to take over tire services for all models of the brand in the future. With the cooperation, they aim to further expand the after-sales network and improve the quality, range, and efficiency of the services. Several hundred tire changes have already been scheduled and executed at the current time, highlighting the growing demand.

The Hanover-based tire and auto service provider is already comprehensively organized in the servicing of electric vehicles. Additionally, the new service partner aims to provide fleet managers with a seamless process in handling the fleet, from order authorization to billing, which is managed online and centrally. Decisive factors in the decision for Vergölst were also the option of collaborating with repareo as a new service partner and the added value this creates in appointment booking through digital tools, explained Fabian Holst, Head of Service Operation at NIO Germany. In cooperation with repareo, Vergölst enables a flexible online appointment booking, according to the promise.

The technology from repareo also enables the integration of appointment booking into workshop systems. The young Chinese company thus sees itself as increasingly well positioned. With its service network of its own operations – such as the NIO Hub in Munich, Cologne, or soon in Weiterstadt - as well as the nationwide Mobile Service and certified partner workshops ("Authorized Service Center", ASC), they aim to provide support in case of service within the shortest possible time.
