More Money for E-Cars: Kroschke and DAD Ensure Above-Average High GHG Premiums
Kroschke and DAD once again ensure the uncomplicated registration of new electric vehicles and their premiums: Because owners of electric vehicles can generate additional attractive income annually. The so-called THG quota actually imposes CO2 emissions reduction targets on oil companies. The trick: Thanks to the THG premium, owners of electric cars also benefit, as they contribute to the reduction of climate-damaging greenhouse gases in the environment.
All-in: Kroschke takes over administrative work for commercial users – service for private individuals to follow
The registration experts of the Kroschke Group take over the administrative work for OEMs, subscription and leasing providers, as well as car dealerships and fleet operators. Good news for e-car owners: Since January 2022, both companies and private individuals can have their achieved CO2 savings certified thanks to the THG premium. These are then sold to quota-complying industrial companies. In plain language, this means: You can now also sell CO2 certificates as a fleet and benefit yearly.
By integrating the THG premium into the registration process, the Kroschke Group aims to provide an additional service for all customers who are or want to become an active part of electromobility. Kroschke and DAD Deutsche Auto Dienst take over the administrative work in their respective market segments with this service and thus significantly relieve the customers. Managing Director Felix Kroschke explains:
“We are pleased that, due to bundling effects, we can pay out above-average amounts to our customers. Not only from an economic perspective, but above all because we want to actively drive the expansion of e-mobility.”
An interesting side aspect: The distributed premiums are expected to be significantly higher than the offers of competitors. Together with the environmental bonus for electric cars of up to 6,000 euros, applicants get an attractive premium bundle.
According to Kroschke, the process works in a few steps: After signing the contract, the customer only needs to digitally submit some information and a scan of the vehicle registration document for each transaction. Kroschke or DAD then takes care of all further steps, including registration with the Federal Environment Agency. Afterwards, the CO2 certificates are bundled and sold on so-called THG quota marketplaces and the customer receives the premium payout. By bundling the quotas and the resulting quantity effects, Kroschke can pass on above-average revenues.
Supply and demand: the premium amount can fluctuate
The premium amount of up to 350 euros is, however, subject to the usual supply and demand fluctuations of the market. After the order is placed, the agreed premium amount is guaranteed to the customer over the contract period.

An extension of the service to the private customer segment is in planning.
What does that mean?
Once again, Kroschke integrates additional administrative work in the registration process into its services – from which, in the case of the THG premiums, customers benefit and thus receive the registration almost for free. This effort should be well worth it, especially since the THG premium makes electric cars even more attractive.
