Monta and Eliso cooperate for public fast charging network

The software company Monta, specialized in charging technologies, has entered into a new partnership with the charging infrastructure operator eliso, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions. This allows the Stuttgart-based charging infrastructure specialist to put numerous public fast charging points online over the long term, provide them to end users, and ensure easy payment for e-drivers. To successfully transition mobility, a comprehensive charging infrastructure in public spaces is also necessary.

As part of the Germany network, the federal government aims to ensure a comprehensive and demand-driven fast charging network across the entire country. At more than 1,000 locations, around 9,000 fast charging points are to be established to close the remaining "white spots" on the charging map. As part of the Germany network, eliso, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, will install and operate 828 charging points at 106 locations in Northern and Central Germany under the joint umbrella of Via Deutschlandnetz. For easy charging and payment within the eliso charging network, including the charging points in the Germany network, eliso is partnering with the software provider Monta.

"Being able to charge an electric car easily should not be a matter of location," says Stefan Schauer-Burkart, Enterprise Sales Director at Monta, regarding the current regional differences in the charging network.
