The independent car-sharing provider Miles is now also starting with station-independent car-sharing in Augsburg. This expands the company's offer to a total of ten cities in Germany. As usual, customers in Augsburg can also reserve, open, and close the vehicles via the app. Digital registration requires only a driver's license and a credit card. Billing is based on the kilometers driven, paying only for the actually driven distances. Hourly and daily rentals are also possible if the car is needed for a longer period. Parking fees within Augsburg as well as in other cities are included in the rental price, as are fueling or charging, the provider emphasizes.
“In addition to demographic figures and the geographical location, it is above all the political framework conditions and the openness of the city that are decisive for our expansion. We are proud to be one of the first providers in the city and are excited to see how the offer will be received," explains Managing Director Oliver Mackprang.
