MG4 XPower – 435 PS, all-wheel drive, and premiere at the "Festival of Speed" in Goodwood

The new model features a dual-motor drivetrain for the first time, providing all-wheel drive. It generates a total output of 320 kW (435 hp) and up to 600 Nm of torque. The front electric motor delivers 150 kW, while the rear contributes 170 kW. This makes the most powerful MG motor model to date complete the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a sporty 3.8 seconds. Like every MG4 Electric, the XPower also builds on the modular scalable platform (MSP).

Torque Vectoring and Dual Motor

In addition to impressive performance on straight stretches, the upgraded drivetrain of the MG4 Electric XPower features sophisticated technological upgrades to effectively control power distribution and maximize the driving experience in curves. For the first time in an MG, a completely new dynamic curve control system is being deployed, which includes an electronic locking differential and intelligent motor control. This enables torque vectoring between all four wheels, ensuring maximum traction and outstanding stability in a variety of driving situations.
