Mer Germany installs four fast-charging stations at the Wanninger furniture store in Straubing

In cooperation with the furniture store Wanninger, Mer offers a new fast-charging option in the industrial area of Straubing. A total of four hyperchargers from alpitronic with charging capacities of 50 and 300 kW are available. The decision to provide charging points with different charging capacities allows users to choose between faster charging processes and a more cost-effective rate depending on their time budget and needs. To ensure EV drivers have permanent access to the charging stations – regardless of opening hours – the parking barrier on-site has been relocated.

The site is also already prepared for future expansions. Depending on demand, the existing charging infrastructure can be further upgraded.

Additional Charging Options in the Straubing Urban Area

The newly opened charging stations in the industrial area expand the Mer charging network in the Lower Bavarian region. With the opening of the Hypercharger 400 on Donaugasse in August last year, Straubing residents can now charge at eight Mer charging stations. Always with the certainty of being supplied exclusively with 100 percent green electricity. Other locations in the urban area include Westpark on Geiselhöringer Straße, the Straubing district office on Leutnerstraße, the Theresien Center at Oberer-Thor-Platz, the Ostermaier car dealership on Chamer Straße, as well as on Europaring and Antoniusberg. For charging processes, only the Mer ConnectMe app or a standard charging card from a roaming provider is required.
