mein-dienstrad.de: New COO aims to promote sustainable company mobility
The Oldenburg specialist for sustainable corporate mobility, mein-dienstrad.de, has expanded its leadership team and is setting the course for growth with new Managing Director Kerstin Tewer. Tewer comes from within the company and takes on the position of COO. In April 2019, the business administration graduate began her career at the company as a clerk in contract management. In October 2019, she moved to sales and took over the management of internal sales in the fall of 2020. Prior to this, Kerstin Tewer worked for a cruise operator for many years. As head of operations, she was responsible for personnel, purchasing, and product management there for 16 years.
"We are very pleased that Kerstin, with her experience, her enthusiasm for our product, and her personable manner, is now also supporting us as Managing Director. We have a lot planned for the new year and are very well positioned for the future with Kerstin," summarizes Marcel Nothnagel, Managing Director of mein-dienstrad.de.
With Kerstin Tewer in management, the company is also further expanding its already strong proportion of women in leadership positions to 80 percent. According to Tewer, they aim to differentiate themselves from competitors through personal relationships with customers via a permanent contact person. They also gladly accept special requests, which particularly convinces large customers. Additionally, they are constantly working on expanding their product range.
Successful Partner for a Federal State
The provider won the bid as the exclusive company bike leasing provider for a federal state last year. Tewer sees the collaboration as a great success. Public tenders are always a challenge, as different requirements are set compared to the private sector. Several federal states are currently inviting tenders, and they are naturally very interested in collaborating, also with cities and municipalities in general.
The Oldenburg company considers itself one of the leading providers in the field of company bike leasing and is a brand of baron mobility service gmbh. Since 2012, the company has been offering individual leasing models for employers. Employees ride their desired bike of choice. If the employee acquires the company bike through salary conversion, they benefit from a tax subsidy through the 0.25% regulation and can use their bike for private rides, according to the concept. Company bike leasing is already firmly established in many companies, including corporations like Bayer AG and Henkel, as part of corporate health management. Climate-friendly mobility is possible for companies of all sizes as well as for freelancers and self-employed individuals, the company further advertises.
