Super exclusive: The fully electric vehicle manufactured for Marchesi Antinori will be auctioned on 14.7.2024 in California as part of the Napa Valley Festival at the "Arts for All." The gala is one of the leading charity events for the arts in the USA.

To celebrate Maserati's 110th anniversary, the brand meets Marchesi Antinori. The family business can look back on over 600 years of winemaking tradition. The knowledge of winemaking has been passed down through 26 generations, making the winery a distinctive symbol of Italy. With a strong identity, innovative intuition, and the nurturing of centuries-old tradition, which Maserati says "made it one of the best in the world," the products of Marchesi Antinori and the Tignanello production area reflect a passion.

The paint is inspired by the vineyard soil

The exterior paint of the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello in "Terra di Tignanello" is a chestnut tone inspired by the vineyard soil—warmed by a copper burgundy that resembles the central red tones typical of Tignanello's barriques. The rich, metallic hue creates an elegant look meant to reflect the winery and its atmosphere. The wheels and brake calipers are in matte and glossy black, respectively, while the emblems are copper-colored. The fabric of the roof is also black.

Even the textiles reference the vine rows

The seats are upholstered in leather, decorated with a ribbed fabric in silver and burgundy. This is made of Vegea, an innovative textile fabric. It reminds one of the pattern of vine rows on the hill of Tignanello, characterized by the Albarese rocks in their midst. The fabric looks and feels like leather and is used in a Maserati automobile for the first time.

Other aspects of the interior are more classic: Dark briarwood with laser engraving—chosen to recall the imprint burned into oak barrels—adorns the panels and contains textual details about the creation of Tignanello. On the headrest, an elegant embroidery connects the Maserati trident with the Tignanello trademark: the sun, which has long been a hallmark on the bottle label. The same symbol is laser-etched on the center console.

Klaus Busse, Maserati Head of Design, explains:

"This collaboration with Marchesi Antinori gives us the opportunity to embody the essence of bespoke manufacturing with our Maserati Fuoriserie customization program. It is designed to create ad-hoc experiences for Maserati customers by producing custom vehicles that make the driving experience even more sublime and distinctive. Telling a story of Italian excellence is a source of inspiration for us and serves as a constant motivation for our work. With tailored production, we strive to create something absolutely dedicated and inimitable."
