MAN Transport Solutions: 100th Consultation on Entry into E-Mobility
MAN Transport Solutions Consulting has conducted 100 comprehensive consulting projects for fleet operators with its 360° consulting approach and supported them in entering electromobility in a development cooperation with renowned software providers. Since 2018, MAN Transport Solutions Consulting has been accompanying MAN's product portfolio with battery-electric drive in the three product segments Truck, Bus, and Van. The aim is to advise customers, primarily fleet operators in public transport, the service sector, and industrial companies, on the transition to electromobility with expertise and services.
The focus of MAN consultants from the fields of vehicle technology, charging infrastructure, logistics, energy management, route planning, and battery technology is particularly on the areas of network analysis, charging infrastructure, energy supply and storage, demand planning, and service.

An eMobility solution for shuttle services to supply production was developed for the medium-sized Schwarz Group based in Herbrechtingen. Following the consultation and analysis by MAN Transport Solutions, the owner-managed company group will supply its customer Carl Zeiss with a MAN eTGM in the future. Three to four times a day, the electric truck will shuttle between Herbrechtingen and Oberkochen.
