Long-distance bus provider Pinkbus introduces new CMO
The Cologne-based start-up Pinkbus has completed its leadership team by bringing on Niklas Röck as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). One of his main tasks will be restructuring the overall marketing mix to develop new customer segments based on a Data-First approach. According to the company, the primary goal initially is to successfully complete the first funding rounds through proof-of-concept.
"Our company needs to become more data-driven, and we need a drastic shift towards granular customer segmentation with optimal targeting," explains Pinkbus founder Tino Engelmann the decision.
Röck brings experience from several start-ups and companies, including his self-founded performance marketing agency. Pinkbus describes its new CMO as a "generalist with an extremely data-driven mindset" who is convinced by the long-distance bus provider's climate-neutral concept.
"I firmly believe that the long-distance bus is the most efficient method for domestic travel in Germany," says Röck.
Pinkbus offers exclusively direct rides in Neoplan Skyliner buses and describes itself as the fastest provider on the market, traveling "100 percent climate-neutral." In addition, there are constant prices - they want to remain transparent to the customer.
