Leasys: Relaunch for Fleet Sharing
The Stellantis subsidiary Leasys has introduced a completely redeveloped version of its I-Share car sharing platform for businesses, designed to facilitate the use and sharing of company vehicles. The service now features modern keyless technology, a user-friendly app for drivers, and a new website for fleet managers to simplify management. Employee mobility has become a central issue of corporate social systems in recent years, the provider argues in favor of the system. The aim is to offer companies the option to convert a benefit, such as a company car, into a shared advantage, providing an additional service at lower costs. The new technology is intended to eliminate the administrative management of vehicle pick-up and return. Drivers can manage their journeys autonomously by reserving the car and unlocking the doors directly via the app.
Fleet managers, in turn, can use the platform to configure the shared fleet and driver utilities, set the availability and locations for vehicle pick-up and return. This simplifies fleet management, makes traditional reservation documents redundant, and enables secure and timely identification of the user in case of theft or accident. Moreover, thanks to the dashboard features of the portal, one can keep an eye on the fleet, displaying the status of the vehicles or their efficiency in operation.
The platform is now also open to electric and hybrid vehicles, aiming to enable companies operating in urban environments a gradual transition to a green fleet. The implementation and introduction of the service is intended to support the work of fleet managers and improve fleet efficiency in terms of "Total Cost of Ownership." In 2022, further investment in technology is planned, with content and services that are digital, innovative, and focused on green mobility, according to the provider.
