Kia: "Over-the-Air" Software Updates for All Models

The South Korean automotive group is now offering "Over the Air" (OTA) updates for all Kia vehicles from the 2022 model year onwards, provided they are equipped with the Kia navigation system. Additionally, the Kia Connect telematics system must be activated. The OTA functionality provides easy access to updates for the vehicle's navigation system and head unit, and fixes any software errors. It enables remote access to navigation, infotainment, and comfort updates, which are then wirelessly transmitted to the vehicle. The OTA technology not only offers added convenience but also saves time by keeping the systems automatically up-to-date without requiring any action from the customers.
