Kia EV3: In the Netherlands from 36,995 Euros

Kia is gradually launching the EV3. In the Netherlands, it costs from 36,995 euros, while the Long Range variant with an 81.4 kWh battery starts at 41,495 euros. In the UK, the models are slightly more expensive. Since Kia is generally somewhat more expensive in Germany than in the Netherlands, we expect starting prices here to be around 38,000 and 43,000 euros, respectively. 

The Dutch price list also includes the WLTP values: With the 58.3 kWh battery, the EV3 comes in three trims: Air, Plus, and Plus Advanced. Kia specifies a range of 429 kilometers for the Air and Plus trims, and 408 kilometers for the Plus Advanced. The same trims are available with an 81.4 kWh battery, in addition to the top variants GT-Line and GT-PlusLine. The WLTP range is 600 kilometers for the Air and Plus variants, and 571 kilometers for the other three trims.

The EV3 always uses 400-volt technology and is powered by a 150 kW electric motor on the front axle. The standard model accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, slightly faster than the Long Range variant, which takes 7.7 seconds due to its heavier battery.

The EV3 is 4.30 meters long, 1.85 meters wide, and 1.56 meters high, but offers an ample 2.68 meter wheelbase for plenty of interior space, including a generous trunk: it is said to offer 460 to 1,250 liters of volume. Additionally, there is a 25-liter frunk under the front hood.
