Juice Technology plans DC chargers and special fleet offers
After the private sector, Juice is now targeting corporate and commercial fleets: Employees usually take cars and delivery vans home overnight and ideally should be able to charge them there. Juice presents a world-first solution for reliable metering and billing that requires no installation, thereby solving the central issue of electrified vehicle fleets in one fell swoop.
Juice is also venturing into DC charging with buffer storage
In addition, Juice is introducing a DC fast charging station that offers up to 210 kW of charging power and can be connected via a standard industrial socket. A built-in battery with a capacity of 233 to 466 kWh collects the energy to rapidly charge vehicles as needed. This eliminates the otherwise enormous costs associated with upgrading the grid connection, project planning and installation, and peak power demands. With this pioneering solution, simply set it up and plug it in. Excess solar power can also be efficiently collected and used.
Christoph Erni, founder and CEO of Juice, promises:
“We are demonstrating that with our flexible and versatile solutions, the switch to plug-in hybrids and purely battery-electric vehicles for fleets and in the logistics sector can be quick and easy. There is no reason to further delay electrification in the B2B sector, especially considering the long-term cost savings.”
Juice Technology will be present at transport-CH in Bern in Hall 3.2 at Stand C020. The leading biennial trade fair of the Swiss mobility industry is held together with carrosserie-CH and aftermarket-CH. With over 250 exhibitors and more than 800 brands, it serves as a significant industry meet-up and a showcase of Swiss mobility innovations.
What does this mean?
Following the discontinuation of private subsidies for wall boxes in Germany, this market declined. Juice is establishing a second major foothold with the new solutions, as the development of a proprietary charging infrastructure and simplified billing will be important for many companies in the future.
