JLR Subscribe: Range Rover and Defender on Subscription
At JLR, the new subscription services are called Range Rover Subscribe and Defender Subscribe, respectively. Customers have the option to choose between one, six, or nine-month terms. This offer was created in collaboration with SIXT+ and provides access to various models. There is a fixed monthly price, a cancellation notice period of one month, and the option to pause the contract.
800 kilometers per month are included
Customers can subscribe quickly and easily at a fixed monthly price on subscribe.landrover.de. The subscription includes a mileage of 800 kilometers per month, which can optionally be increased to 1,200 or 1,600 kilometers. The fixed monthly price includes liability and comprehensive insurance as well as service costs for maintenance and tires. However, fuel and charging are not covered.
Customers also have the option to pause their contract. After prior notice, he or she can return the car to a Sixt station for a certain period of time – for example, six weeks. Naturally, the subscription fees are also paused during this period and only resume when the car is picked up again. Interested customers can find information about and book the models Defender 90 and 110, as well as Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, and Range Rover Evoque on the website subscribe.landrover.de.
The delivery location is Sixt stations – or anywhere you want
After completing the formalities, the booked vehicle is available within two to four weeks at SIXT stations in major cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart, and Munich. There is also the option of direct delivery of the vehicle to an agreed location.
A customer service representative is available to answer all questions about the subscription and the vehicle. JLR Germany CEO Jan-Kas van der Stelt expressed his satisfaction with the partnership with SIXT+ and the introduction of the new subscription services, noting:
“Subscription solutions starting from just one month in duration and with a one-month cancellation notice are excellent examples of modern mobility solutions.”
Igor Murakami, Director of New Services and Open Innovation at JLR, also expressed his pleasure at the introduction of the new mobility services, which meet the needs of a growing number of mobility users.
What does this mean?
Jaguar Land Rover is also entering the subscription business – and definitely has an experienced partner with Sixt. It will be interesting to see how many customers will subscribe to Land and Range Rover in the future.
