Infra Fürth Verkehr: Three Ebusco 2.2 articulated buses ordered
For the Dutch electric bus manufacturer Ebusco from Deurne, this is the first order from Germany for the 18-meter variant of the Ebusco 2.2. The order comes from the Franconian transportation company Infra Fürth Verkehr from Fürth - the delivery is scheduled for the end of 2022.
One of the reasons for choosing Ebusco was the fact that the Ebusco maintenance partner AGK Fürth is located at the same site as Infra Fürth. This ensures that maintenance and repairs can always be competently and quickly organized, the Dutch company stated in their press release.
"We are very pleased to welcome Infra Fürth as a customer. We greatly appreciate their trust and look forward to further collaboration. The fact that Ebusco is investing in its after-sales network has clearly paid off in this process," said Wolfgang Hackauf, Key Account Manager Germany.
The low-floor Ebusco electric articulated bus provides a range of 350 to 450 km, depending on battery configuration, and can accommodate up to 150 passengers.
USB charging ports and Wi-Fi will be on board for passenger comfort. Ebusco did not provide any additional details about the future Fürth electric buses' features.
The Dutch electric bus manufacturer Ebusco has been active in the German market since 2017. According to Ebusco, 54 electric buses are currently operating on German roads, including in Munich, Bonn, and Frankfurt. The order situation is steadily increasing – recently, the Berlin public transport company ordered 90 Ebusco 2.2. electric solo buses.
