Good vibes at the Keba booth: There we met Vanessa Kammerer, responsible for Sales Support, Bernhard Krusch, Customer Care & After Sales Trainer, and Armin Weberberger, who had the latest wall boxes with them. Included in their lineup was the "classic" KeContact P30, already the third generation of wall boxes from Keba, which, thanks to the latest communication standards and features, offers completely new application possibilities. It can not only charge but also control, communicate, and network.

With its integration into Smart Home or backend systems, coupling with photovoltaic systems, or the possibility of billing, KeContact P30 becomes the communication hub for intelligently controlled charging. Upon inquiry, Kammerer confirmed that software development in the background is continuously ongoing.

Additionally, the CO2-neutral KeContact P30 "Green Edition," recognizable by the green charging cable, has been so well received that, according to Kammerer, they are considering further CO2-neutral product lines.

The Keba-owned program was complemented by versions for OEMs, which also represents an important pillar in the Keba range. In response to the question of whether they have more professional and fleet customers or more private customers, Kammerer explained that it is currently balanced and therefore they can rely on two strong pillars in sales.

What does this mean?

Keba remains focused on its core business and constantly evolves its robust KeContact P30 base on the software side as well. It will be interesting to see how the Austrians will maintain and expand their program in the future.
