Inside, Hyundai came up with something new: The continuous front seat row allows for easy access, while all seats are foldable. The rear seat bench can be shifted by 16 cm, giving the 3.80-meter-long electric vehicle with a 2.58-meter wheelbase a loading volume of 351 liters (up to 1,059 liters with the seats folded down). Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is ideal for city traffic and facilitates parking.

Customers can choose between a 42-kWh battery (up to 327 km range, WLTP) and a 49-kWh battery (up to 370 km range). The electric motor delivers either 71 kW/97 hp or 85 kW/115 hp with 147 Nm of torque. The battery can be charged at fast charging stations with up to 85 kW in 30 minutes (10–80%); an 11-kW on-board charger is standard. A battery heating system and a heat pump optimize charging times and range (standard in Prime, optional in other variants).

The INSTER is available in the trim lines Select, Trend, Cross, and Prime (prices starting at 23,900 euros). All variants come with comprehensive safety features such as lane-keeping and lane-following assistance, adaptive cruise control, and a reversing camera. The digital cockpit with 10.3-inch displays, automatic climate control, and wireless smartphone integration is standard from the base version. Higher trims offer additional features like LED projection headlights, larger alloy wheels, ambient lighting, or the assistance package with a 360° camera and blind-spot monitor.

The production start of the Inster Cross will take place at the end of the year, while the other variants will come to market at the beginning of next year.
