In 2020, Hypermotion will once again shed light on the future of mobility, expanding its scope more than ever: from in-house logistics solutions and new urban mobility concepts to the international arena, reaching even into space this year! Exciting expert talks on the central stage of the Hypermotion-Lab will tackle the topic: “IoT in Space – The Future of Space Infrastructure.” Additionally, new cross-connections will be created, linking interesting thematic complexes in new ways. For example: “How is 3D printing revolutionizing urban logistics?” or “Drone Boom – The Hour of the High-flyers.”
Around the Lab, further conferences, an exhibition, and a congress will cover trends in mobility, logistics, and green city concepts. The following companies have announced their participation: veloCARRIER, ONO, BdKEP, Smart City Loop GmbH, The Linde Group, Sasse Solutions GmbH, OPSYS Technologies, Vitronic, IVU Traffic Technologies, Siemens, LEVC – the London Taxi Company, and many more.
Additionally, taking place will be the German Mobility Congress on the Future of Mobility, EXCHAiNGE – a community meetup on current supply chain challenges, and the Scalex-Conference (which deals with supply chain and logistics and will be held in Germany for the first time). For fleets, the bfp-FORUM will be of interest.
On two days during Hypermotion, the 6th German Mobility Congress will be dedicated to the main theme: “Climate Change, Digitalization, Corona – How Do We Shape Our Future Mobility?”
Climate change and the consequences of the current Corona crisis will be the great challenges of the next years, if not decades. In this context, digitalization will play a crucial role in finding solutions. What measures need to be taken to make transport and mobility more environmentally friendly and achieve our climate goals? At the 6th German Mobility Congress, experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, and politicians will develop approaches for the mobility of the future.
EXCHAiNGE – Supply Chain Summit with Award Night
Discuss at the 8th international Supply Chain Summit, among other things, how companies are coping with the economic consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and how they remain operational worldwide despite interrupted supply chains. In talk rounds and interactive workshops, high-ranking representatives from business and academia come together to exchange ideas on topics such as resilience in collaboration: success factors for start-ups & corporations, 5G as an enabler for smart cities/urban logistics, sustainable business & circular economy, and corporate culture in digital transformation. Additionally, the two prestigious Supply Chain Awards will be presented at the EXCHAiNGE Award Night. Last year, Continental and parcelLab were the lucky winners. Who will convince the jury in 2020?
smc:smart mobility conference
The smc is the future forum for sustainable urban mobility. It focuses on the DNA of our future transport and logistics systems. Experts will discuss questions such as: What digital infrastructure is needed to achieve our mobility, climate, and environmental goals? What role do AI and machine learning play in the traffic management of the future? What master plans exist in municipalities and cities, and what is the status of their implementation?
scalex conference
For the first time, the scalex conference will be held in Germany. The focus is on „Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence“. In three sessions, the following topics will be discussed and examined: „Resilience in Global Supply Chains“, „Digital & Urban Logistics“, and „Logistics Performance Infrastructure“. Participants from business, academia, research, as well as cities and municipalities will consider and analyze the far-reaching, significant changes brought about by COVID-19, Brexit, and observable de-globalization tendencies.
Das bfp FORUM and Corporate Mobility
One ticket, two fairs. This year, the bfp FORUM will be held alongside Hypermotion on November 10th and 11th in Hall 1.1. With the theme “Corporate Mobility,” the forum is aimed, among others, at fleet and mobility managers. Experience two days under one roof, and see how corporate mobility is shaping the traffic concepts of the future!

What does it mean?
Even after the departure of the passenger car IAA, Frankfurt remains a mobility hotspot – albeit with a different approach: Hypermotion considers the topic of mobility across industries – and in 2020, even into space.
