Hydrogen Filling Stations: Tyczka Hydrogen Supplies H2 Mobility
At the H2 Mobility Station in Erlangen, green hydrogen is now available, produced and delivered by Tyczka Hydrogen. It is considered one of the most frequented stations in the H2 Mobility network and is particularly heavily used by heavy commercial vehicles. The supply of additional hydrogen stations in Bavaria, including Biebelried, Fürth, and Pentling, will follow shortly. This brings H2 Mobility closer to its goal of offering 100% green hydrogen across the entire station network by 2028 at the latest.
“The supply of the Erlangen hydrogen station with regenerative hydrogen is a great success and marks the beginning of further supply contracts with Tyczka Hydrogen,” said Frank Fronzke, Managing Director and COO of H2 Mobility.
As soon as the certification according to the Delegated Regulation on "Renewable Fuels of Non-biological Origin" (RFNBO) of the EU is available, the hydrogen supplied by Tyczka Hydrogen will be RFNBO-certified.
The station supplies business customers in the region from the logistics and waste management sectors. Customers include, among others, hylane, a lessor of fuel cell trucks and operator of the largest European truck fleet with hydrogen drive (currently Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell 4x2 and 6x2).
