Govecs pays environmental bonus for Schwalbe

The Munich-based light electric vehicle specialist Govecs has introduced an environmental bonus for its Schwalbe model, which is available through the online shop as well as in its stores in Munich, Berlin, and Stuttgart. When purchasing the L1e variant with a maximum speed of 45 km/h, the Govecs bonus is 1,600 euros; for the L3e variant up to 90 km/h, it is 1,000 euros. The reasoning given is:

"What has long been standard for buying an electric car, the Munich company wants to pass on to its scooter customers, to make access to high-quality e-mobility accessible to everyone."

The variant up to 45 km/h is optionally available with one or two batteries, providing a realistic range of up to 100 km. The version up to 90 km/h comes standard with two batteries, which should be sufficient for a radius of 90 kilometers. The models are built in over 1,500 manual steps in their own factory in Wroclaw, Poland, and then brought to stores in Munich, Berlin, and Hamburg, or delivered directly to customers if desired. Both options are available to customers in the online shop.

Mature and robust technology

The electric scooter manufacturer’s E-Schwalbe offers various driving modes: Crawl modes (forward/reverse), Go, Cruise, or Boost mode. "The Bosch mid-motor has a power of 400 Nm. That's more than some cars," advertises Thomas Grübel, founder and CEO of the e-scooter pioneer. He also points out the award it received in the 2019 ADAC test, where the L1e-Schwalbe was the test winner in its vehicle class and the L3e-Schwalbe came in second. Additionally, the e-moped features robust brakes, with ABS available as an option. In the configurator, interested parties can choose from six different colors and three seat options; a particularly stable main stand is also available.
